Friday Quickie – the terrorists have already lost

The brothers were pretty much in agreement on this quick and rare Friday installment. Mali was the scene for some more Islamic terrorism today, and they discuss who and what some.

Paris is planning a rager to follow up a week after the attacks, they will not go quietly into that dark night, but will go blaring a vuvuzela and shining a flashlight, and good on ’em. We’re proud of you for not giving in to fear.

Every shred of unanswered joy that enters this world unchallenged is just one more loss for the terrorists. The terrorists have lost the game.

The Podcaste Exclusive: Pres. Obama Explain Strategy on ISIS

THE PENTAGON:  President Obama met with military leaders in the Pentagon today to explain his strategy against the Islamic State.  “Instead of fighting them like the King of Jordan or Russia, just clumsily punching them with bombs, we will wage a smarter war, like how I deal with the Republicans.”  Obama ignored all the maps and ground intelligence reports the generals had prepared for him and had staffers enter the room with some campaign charts.  “What we need to do is never act on substance or attack directly, but instead make a straw ISIL, in a straw city, populated entirely of straw jihadists, then we bomb that straw man enemy to hell!”

Obama explained that the administration’s preferred target is never the actual person but merely a cartoonish straw man that he creates, such as calling Republicans cowards who are afraid of widows and orphans instead of answering the most basic questions of national security concerns that they bring up.  It has also worked to quell bi-partisan arguments by the administration merely ignoring the Democrats involved in the situation and instead calling all who oppose the will of the president “Petty Partisan Republicans,” like what they did to Chuck Schumer and many other Dem leaders who opposed the Iran deal.

“The straw man attack is the only attack I’ve used and it’s worked well so far!  So get out there, make-up a fake and easy target and attack it!”

WiretapWednesday Nov 18 2015 – #blacklivesmatter and we lost at least 6500 last year

The brothers were on a tear out of the gate, by the numbers:

  • 6500 dead in Africa from Boko Haram
  • 29-40 dead on Tuesday in Yola Nigera
  • 100+ dead and more than 300 wounded in the last 3 weeks in Nigera and surrounding areas
  • targeting areas where refugees had fled Boko Haram

Yes #blacklivesmatter, let’s get some more coverage of these outrages in our media!

Tech makes two mistakes, in a rant he said he drives nearly a hundred thousand miles, he meant to say half a hundred thousand miles a year. The other mistake was an article he mentioned, it wasn’t Slate, it was The Atlantic.

What’s the difference between Al Qaeda and ISIS?

-Gunn Sully

PENTAGON (The Podcaste):  In light of recent attacks and reported plots of Islamic State and previous attacks of Al Qeada, many questions as to the origins and differences between the two groups have arisen. Analyzing US Military situation reports and Defense Intelligence Agency memorandums, the 2 groups are distinguished as follows:

Al Qeuada has been around since the 1980s and worked to consolidate local Muslim militias to fight against Russia in Afghanistan.  After that, Al Queada became a government of it’s own and was relatively aimless after the fall of The Soviet Union.  The main recruiting element of Al Qaedea after the fall of communism was radical Islam and, of course, promising the loving companionship of goats.

The IS (Islamic State), or ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), or ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the…

Wiretap Wednesday – How to fix your Outlook crashing, whats wrong with the TPP, and Gun learns not to piss off the editor

So KB:3097877 ruined Tech’s day today. The GOP debated last night and didn’t say anything off the charts stupid, but also didn’t shake up the order.

Links mentioned on today’s show:

Flashing Login screen or Outlook crashing, this saved Tech’s bacon

We should use the TPP as TP. Longer form, it is really anti person/consumer, anti competition.
